For those who sell glassware and need help identifying pieces, I suggest joining a group. I am a member of a Yahoo Group in which the members help each other identify glassware. This is a very active group and the participants are well informed. They have access to reference books and various sites to further help identify items. If you are going to be selling glassware, whether it is depression glass, contemporary glass, or early American pattern glass, it is great to have a group of people who are helping you identify unknown items. This particular group has a "Glass Lover's Database" which includes several thousand patterns. Check out the Yahoo Group, and if you can, help spread knowledge and wipe out the perpetuation of misidentification of glassware found on other sites! Check out Glass Lovers Database, Yahoo Groups. Any and all help is appreciated.
