How Did You Discover Addoway?

I first heard about Addoway about four years ago. A friend of mine who sold her items here told me that this was a friendly site that offered free listings. She said the owners provided excellent support and were very helpful, so I decided to check it out.

I spent a few weeks browsing the shops of those who sold here and liked what I saw. I then decided to take the plunge of signing up here as a Seller in 2011. Almost immediately, I was welcomed by one of the owners, Fred Nijm, with a friendly message.

I set up shop fairly quickly. Listing here is not hard at all and you can't beat the price of FREE listings! Because I also sell on other sites, it was easy to transfer many of the items I wanted to sell here. Uploading pictures was easy, too.

If you are reading this, I'd love to hear how you discovered Addoway and also what your thoughts are as a Seller/Buyer on this site. Please take time to leave a comment.

Accidentally found this site on Google while typing something like Add a Shopping Cart or adding carts to your website or whatever (can't actually find the correct exact wording) and then I saw the word Addoway and clicked.

I guess I'm now famous with this reply, or am I, being that no one has ever heard of Curi nor Addoway?

I've heard of you both, Curi, but I'm pretty sure you're still famous! Thanks for sharing! :-)

Those 3 shops remind me of Ghost Town. Ever heard of it?
Thank you for providing their shop links.

Here is the link where I can across the name of this site

I agree it looks a little deserted, but there are many shop owners around here who are still quite active. I am also on Etsy here:
and sell on eBay and Bonanza as well.
Thanks for sharing your link, Jana.

I too have to agree after coming back here to follow up.

I want to find a new place to sell in 2015 since I've decided to finally detach from Ecrater because all they really do is bitch bitch bitch within the (sellers only) forum but after seeing these store links, I'm not even sure its the safest option here either and Bonanza is definitely not my interest.

You do have some outstanding seller feedback here.

I do not see (valid) merchants here at all?
Or at least they talk a high mountain (from 2013-2014 homepage blogs here) but they have NOTHING to show for it.

Lost for words at these moment.

I agree that it IS difficult to find a viable selling alternative to the large sites. That is what first drew me to Addoway. I feel Addoway is a "safe" option as there are really no forums to bother with and it is still free to list here. As for sales here, things have gone downhill since the Google ads "fiasco", but I believe that has happened across the board wherever one sells. If you are one who is able to promote your items via the Social Media sites and can get the word out that your items are for sale, you may be pleasantly surprised - or at the very least will gain more exposure in the SEOs.
Thanks for taking time to come back and voice your thoughts, Sandy.
