How to Work the Summer Look Into a Fall Look

Changing your look every season can get expensive and confusing. Boho Clothing helps to solve this problem. In the summer, the look may be as simple as a maxi dress or a broom skirt with a peasant shirt. These items become a part of the layering as the weather turns colder. The same summer dress can be covered with a sweater with a belt and/or a jacket and scarf. The skirt and shirt combination can be simply layered in the same way. With Boho Chic, layering is what it's all about. But, make sure you don't overdo it. You don't want to end up looking like a stuffed sausage! The summer sandals can be worn with socks or traded for long boots. I really like the t-shirt covered with a v-neck sweater or vest for guys. I think the hardest part for guys to figure out is how to do boho in the summer without the layering.

As far as hats go, in the summer it's popular to wear a thin headband or a cool, breezy, floppy hat. When summer comes, you may want to go with a knit beret or a felt hat of some sort. These are quite a bit warmer. Also, coming into style are the knit headbands that wrap around and button in the back with a knit flower on the side--perfect for fall and winter (and also can be worn in summer if desired).

Another positive with Boho Clothing is that as things start to wear out a bit, they become even more genuinely Boho! So, unlike with other fashion styles, it is very long-lasting. The layering also makes it more versatile. Combine that with the fact that much of your Boho components are dirt cheap and you've got a very reasonable style which is a friend to your pocketbook!
