Symphony Fashion Show Young & Fashionable Launch Party
The 2016 Symphony Fashion Show Young and Fashionable co-chairs, Ellen Green and Ann Ralls Niewold, officially launched the show's first Young and Fashionable Committee in style.
A spring-chic crowd gathered at Le Sel for a cocktail party hosted by Strategic Hospitality's Max and Benjamin Goldberg and Capital Wealth Partners' Brian and Hayden Cook. Guests enjoyed light hors d'oeuvres — ham and cheese puff pastries and smoked tomato and eggplant on crostini with fresh ricotta — paired with premium wines or The Bar at Le Sel's signature cocktail, Mercédés (vodka or gin with spiced pear, elderflower, lemon and grapefruit).

2016 Symphony Fashion Show co-chairs Sylvia Bradbury and Suzanne Smothers welcomed the crowd, highlighting the impressive list of special guests for this year's event: globally recognized fashion icon Carolina Herrera will be the featured designer, showing the brand's Fall 2016 Runway collection in its entirety; Academy Award-winning actress Nicole Kidman will serve as honorary chair; and model Lily Aldridge will attend as celebrity chair and guest.
The night's entertainment will be announced in the coming weeks.
Presented by the Nashville Symphony orchestra, Carolina Herrera and Gus Mayer, the 11th annual Symphony Fashion Show will be held at Schermerhorn Symphony Center April 26. Funds raised from this year's show will support the inaugural year of the Nashville Symphony's Accelerando Program.
The program is designed to not only provide professional training and mentorship opportunities to dedicated students of various economic and ethnic backgrounds, but also to assist these young musicians in pursuing music education on a collegiate level as well as preparing them for careers in American orchestras.
