Another Day, Another Day

I'm convinced that when we agree to have children, we agree to take a piece of our brain and give it away. Not sure if they (our kids) get it, or someone else, but one thing is for sure, I don't have it anymore.

It would make sense that the kids get it ... they are exhibiting traits of enough of my bad habits to make it seem like sometimes they are carrying around a piece of my brain ... maybe it's one of those things like bee larvae - they eat the stuff around them to grow into a bee. Or something. Maybe as the kids grow their bad habits they gleaned from the brain pieces they took will disappear as their own minds grow and take over.

My eldest is 11. I'm tentatively optimistic at his chances. The jury is still out on the young ones.

Ok, well. Back to work. Sales are pretty decent now on my other venues and it doesn't leave me much time to do anything but process orders and maintain listings ... and ponder about ways to get my mind back.

Shop on, friends, shop on.

Never having had children of my own, I find this blog to be very funny. You made my day. I'm pretty sure other mothers will agree with you.

Happy selling.

Oh...but then after the kids are grown up and gone, you have menopause to look forward to and that takes away another large piece of the brain matter! That is why we have girlfriends, they understand and we look out after each other. The men just don't get it:)

Awww, thanks!! Glad you liked it. I suppose I might think it's funny too if I had enough gray matter to properly process it. (ha ha) Seriously though, cats are good :D ... My son wrote a story called "Luna" I think you might like. He sold signed copies of it on Ebay when he was 9-years-old and made over $9,000 in less than a month. There were extenuating circumstances, but it's a neat story. If there is a way you can get me your contact information, I'll send you the PDF :D

That explains the purple boas!!!! :D :D :D You know, I understand and am looking forward to being menopausal, playing with my grandkids and eventually holding up my cane and screaming at the neighborhood kids something about whippersnappers and staying off my grass. <3
