Cotton apparel from Pakistan, on average, was 41 cents Prom Dresses during the first half of 2005 than for Chinese products. In the now embargoed cotton apparel categories, Chinese prices fell by between 29 and 60 percent. In the same categories, India, Pakistan and Bangladesh also reduced their prices however unit prices were higher for purple Satin V-neck Halter Prom Dress items. Chinese MMF prices tumbled by over 27 percent whereas prices for Vietnam and Indonesia grew 11 and one percent respectively.
With an increasing attack on Vietnam's strong market share of MMF coats and dresses, Chinese prices in these categories fell significantly meeting only cosmetic price decreases from its South East Purple Sexy Halter Mermaid Prom Dress rival. The same scenario was reproduced on the strong Indonesian market share in categories 636 (MMF Dresses) and 641 (MMF non-knit blouses) where China significantly brought prices down. Indonesian prices for these categories decreased 8.38 percent for category 641 but increased by 12.26 percent for category 636.
Both Wang and Ke believe more manufacturers are using their own designers and this is raising the level of design and improving Chinese brands. Bai Jingyi, a Beijing handicraft master and judge of the Purple Strapless A-line Long Prom Dress since it began, says some works used to look good on paper but couldn't be manufactured because the designers lacked practical experience. She said, somewhat amazingly, that she second-guessed wearing the same outfit as a model because models have such slim figures - as if she didn't.
