I think perhaps that the Easter Bunny & I have broken up. We used to have a special relationship where every year I set out his favorite foods on the day of Easter eve (carrots) and in exchange he would leave treats of candy of all sorts. Chocolate, sweet pastel chewy candies, jelly beans in a rainbow of colors, gummy bears and so much more. He would even leave a toy in the basket too. The basket was always so pretty, wrapped in cellophane and with a big beautiful bow. The basket was always so colorful and could be used after the candy was gone for a doll bed or to put my kitten in.
BUT ... he hasn't shown up now for too many yrs. Once my children left home, I was abandoned by the Easter Bunny ! It crushed my heart when I realized he would no longer come to my house. I believe I have never gotten over the Easter Bunny rejection.
Is this Easter Bunny a pervert that only has interest in young children ?
Does he not have enough candies to share with me?
Will I go my entire life recoverying from the rejection by the Easter Bunny?
After all I'm 63 and I still miss him !
I've been married & no man compared to the Easter Bunny.
I put bunnies around my house inside & out, but it didn't attract him back.
I'm beginning to think I should give up waiting for the Easter Bunny before I turn 64.
