Is Winter Over?

Living in North Carolina we get to experience all four seasons.  Some last longer than others, but we get some of each every year.  This year it seems we've missed winter. Sure, there have been threats of winter weather, but basically it's been very mild in our area.

I would rather have a good cold freeze and even a little snow. It seems the freeze helps the perennial plants and flowers to go dormant so they can emerge in Spring in full bloom.  So far, we've had it cold one day, beautifully warm the next day, and then cold again.

I've lived in the northern midwest and Ohio in the past and have experienced the hard cold winters, so I'm thankful for North Carolina's mild weather.

In Texas, we have also had a very mild winter. I am looking forward to spring, except for the threat of tornados. So far my family has been spared, by the Grace of God. I pray for His protection, cery day. God Bless

Thank you Junebugg for your comments. I'll be praying as well for your family's safety. Tornados are so destructive!

Thanks for viewing my blog!

There were a couple just minutes from here, but we were spared. Lots of high winds though. A little un-nerving in the middle of the night.
