UFOs On Our Landscapes! or The Alien Beauty of the New Mexico Desert - Gorgeous Pics!

If as a child, you dreamed of exploring space, you’ll be happy to learn
that there is a place that looks as alien as anything you may have seen
in the movies, and it’s right here on Earth. Located in San Juan County,
in the north of New Mexico, USA, lie the Ah-Shi-Sle-Pah and Bitzi/
De-Na-Zin Wilderness areas. Anyone stepping into this land will feel as
if they’ve landed on the set of a sci-fi film.

In Navajo, Bitzi means ‘cranes’, and researchers have found many
petroglyphs (ancient drawings) of cranes in the area. Looking at
these amazing rock formations, it’s easy to tell why the Navajo called
it that.

John Cornyn, United States Senate for Texas

THE LONESTAR WEEKLY

A little more than three years ago, Houston-native Austin Tice was taken captive in Syria.  His many accolades include Eagle Scout, Marine, and journalist, but his more important titles are friend, brother, and son.

Austin's family is not just counting the days and minutes he's been gone, but theyre counting the milestones missed over the past three years, too.

I renew my call for Austin's immediate release by his captors and strongly urge the Obama Administration to utilize all possible means necessary to bring Austin home safely.  Ive recently introduced legislation establishing an Interagency Hostage Recovery Coordinator to create a unified government response to hostage situations like...  Read More

Of Love & Nature - Pablo Neruda

“Our love was born
outside the walls,
in the wind,
in the night,
in the earth,
and that's why the clay and the flower,
the mud and the roots
know your name.”
Pablo Neruda
