Incredible Straw Sculptures ~ Japan

There’s an Annual Straw Art Festival in Japan and it Looks Awesome!

Since 2008, students at the Musashino Art University in Tokyo have ventured to Kamizeki Lagoon Park in Niigata City, Japan to erect huge sculptures made from straw. Every year the students build large wooden frames which serve as the base for the woven straw artworks.

Oh so Fun! Holiday Food Art

English artist and designer Carl Warner takes vibrantly colored food and transforms it into gorgeous culinary landscapes. This imaginative artist creatively builds worlds out of meat, fruit, bread and other items you might find in your pantry. He calls his collection Foodscapes. in San Francisco.  
Over 300 neighborhoods joined in to create the

South Dakota sculptor John Lopez creates life-sized scrap  metal sculptures with
a uniquely Western American twist.  In his hands, old discarded farm equipment is
recycled into sculptures of iconic creatures from the American West like a bison, a
horse plowing a field, or a Texas Longhorn.  Lopez already had a career as a bronze
sculptor, but after creating a family grave for his deceased aunt using scrap metal,
he began creating recycled metal sculptures out of found or donated pieces of metal
