The monthly face-off of the Sun and Moon usually kicks up emotions as we encounter the contradictory needs of this opposition. But this one has more punch than usual and can trigger powerful feelings and intense circumstances that are part of a larger story.
The background to this tale is the continuing series of stressful squares between revolutionary Uranus and transformational Pluto that began in 2011 and end next year. Pressure to make radical changes individually grows along with breakdowns in institutions. Generally speaking, security is less likely to come from playing it safe than by taking bold, even revolutionary action. Therefore, it's more practical to be creative, take on some risk and seek new experiences than to stick with unfulfilling positions personally and professionally.
Crisis can arise
Normally, the Full Moon in tough Capricorn's opposition to the Sun in tender Cancer increases awareness of their contrasting characteristics. Crises can arise, especially in regard to the relationship between home life and career. A new balance between these critical areas may result from the revelations of this lunation.
