What makes tax season fun??? Getting beautiful thank you's from some of the great charities to whom we have sent donations this past year. Heart-warming images from two of our favorites are below.
This is just in from Project Hawaii, that helps feed, clothe, care for homeless keiki/children and their families all year long. 100% of the donations go towards the needs of these precious angels.
From Kiva Micro Loans comes this thanks (note this is just for the funds we gave to help with Kiva's overhead, not what we donated to groups or individuals):
Thank you for donating $49.75 to Kiva in 2014. We’re so grateful for your support and commitment to Kiva's mission!
Kiva relies on donors like you to continue to operate, expand our reach and innovate to create opportunity around the world. Your generosity has helped make it possible for Kiva to facilitate loans to more than 1.5 million borrowers across 85 countries.
This email serves as the receipt for your 2014 donations. Please note, this receipt only reflects your donations to Kiva's operating expenses and not loans you’ve made to Kiva borrowers.
And don't forget to ask your company if they match donations by their employees. If they do, your donation could be doubled.
Thanks again for your support, and best wishes for 2015!
