Sadly we have too many family and friends battling this egregious disease. It is a long road to recovery and healing for each of them, and a simple gift to show ongoing caring can be a morale booster. Here is a note we received for just such a small remembrance:Hello Cousins!
Thank you so much for the darling angel necklace you sent me. It was such an unexpected surprise of the delightful kind. From the moment I was diagnosed with breast cancer, you all have been very supportive, even months later when the world moves on & it is still my "now" reality.
Sending even an email or FB posting with clip art can be the extra energy she may need that day or night. Also gifts of love for more research also go far to help fight this disease. We think that Breast Cancer also makes very special hero angels of the dear patients. While undergoing incomprehensible physical and emotional stress, they all seem to rise to the highest level of compassion and caring for others. Another dear cousin with this disease has run many marathons and races for Susan B Komen, raising incredible amounts of money for more research and support of other patients and families.
However you pause to think about Breast Cancer this month, please do just take a little time to try to help others. You may click on the top image and post to FB or tweet to help spread the word. Thank you.
