The repayments have now been invested in this precious young girl, who is trying to help her  family:

Iris Yamileth

Iris is 22, single, and lives with her mother and a sister in her mother's house. She studied up to high school in the city. She was not able to continue her studies at university for economic reasons, as she has to work every day to help her family economically.

Iris currently works looking after a cousin's house in a city within the department. She has to travel on Mondays and stay at the cousin's house to minimise her monthly costs. She leaves the house at 5.30 in the morning as she has to be at work by 6.30 and works from Monday to Saturday. Before that, she received training at an electronics shop. where she worked for three years, but she could not continue this because of low earnings and because she had to travel every day and she did not have much left to help her mother and sister.

Iris also helps her mother to make silk hammocks, which they sell in the community, and this way they also earn a little money.

Iris is asking for a loan through CrediCampo in order to improve the house where she lives, because it is rather unsafe and is threatened with natural damage or damage through delinquency. With the loan she will buy sand, cement, iron and bricks to improve the house, and thus help her mother and family to have a better quality of life.

Iris dreams of being able to continue studying at university and holding down a profession so she can earn money to allow her to help even more the mother who raised her. Read more about Iris or donate to her project here
