Bliss Christmas Project
The blog I wrote about my BIG project Using_Time_Wisely....... brought questions so I thought I would share my progress even though it has nothing to do with sales nor Addoway..EXCEPT... it is keeping me very busy until the sales roll in..and that is a good thing. Click to see Bliss525

The wreath is for the bar and has many wine corks amoungst other stuff. The tree in bar will have wine cork garlands. All artwork will be wrapped in gold paper like gifts with large bows and beads and embellishments. This project is very time intensive not to mention the space it takes up in my kitchen and living room...it is a blessing to me to be able to do this. Normally I do not share but I am trying to be transparent. lol Below is the review I wrote which tells more if you care to read it. Thanks for reading and your comments too, Marla http://www.addoway.com/twysp2/storefront/p/n --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So Ms Marla; forgive me for not getting this right. So your decorating this place? Is this a restaurant? So your making it gorgeous for the holidays? Sorry, I must have missed a blog, those wreaths, are really beautiful. So you made these for this place? But anyways anything you touch turns to beauty, your an angel of God. I am sure wherever these beautiful wreaths lay, they will bring smiles, memories, and so much hope for a greater peace in this world. What a great task, to bring beauty and peace to a fabulous place. What an honor Ms Marla. Clap clap clap....beautiful work....

This restaurant has been sitting basically empty, overgrown, and un-attended to for a number of years. I am so glad that the new owner decided to preserve, refurbish, restore, and redecorate rather than to renovate. The craftsmanship and workmanship of yesteryear is hard to match now days. It certainly has history, romantic charm, classic class, and is a stand out now...like no other.
I was taken on a tour upstairs where there is dining that can be closed off for private parties, banquets and weddings and has a large room where classes and conferences can be held. The popular outdoor upstairs patio is surrounded with blooming bushes and trees and can be reached through the french doors.
With the many seating options...2 outside patios, upstairs, downstairs dining and bar... I choose to sit in the large well sun lit bar for lunch and had a hard time choosing what to order. Suggestions came abounding at me with "you gotta try this, and this and this".....my choice from the well rounded menu was a dressed-up hamburger with all the trimmings and the de-lish mac and cheese with an assortment of vegetable appetizers....oh my gosh, it was good! For desert I shared a White Chocolate and Raspberry Bread Pudding which is a "must have." The food was excellent and served by pleasant and friendly staff.
Great customer service and outstanding food in a beautiful setting...what more can we ask for? Bliss is a great addition to Long Beach East Village!
Even though Bliss appears visually up scale it is not pretentious, uppity, nor snooty. My attire was casual with flip flops and I fit right in with business people at lunch hour. Next time I will go in the evening for the dinner...the menu looks scrumptious!
A bonus is you can park your own car on the premises....almost unheard of these days in downtown Long Beach.
