Once an ad is posted, it is immediately placed into our public For Sale or Service categories and will be searchable by Addoway visitors. The ad is also visible on your storefront homepage and can also be accessed from your My Addoway page, under Ads.
If you posted an ad and it is not visible in the category in which it was listed or in your storefront, it may be possible that your ad became inactive for some reason. Go to the My Addoway page and access the Ads section. You should see your ad there and can reactivate it in the event it became inactive.
It's very simple:
1. Click the Sell link above and get started.
2. Select an ad type (For Sale Ad or Service Ad) and a category where you want to place your ad.
3. Enter your ad description and terms
4. Post your pictures and/or videos.
5. Click the Submit Finished Ad button, and you're done!
YES! Each Addoway user can post as many ads as they like with no fees whatsoever.
Once an ad is posted, it will remain active for 30 days. For your convenience, all for sale ads are set to auto-renew after the initial 30 day period has expired, as long as the ad has not been purchased or made inactive by the seller. Service ads will auto-renew unless the seller chooses to turn auto-renew off, and will remain active until the seller chooses to deactivate the ad. As long as an ad remains active, the time remaining will decrease as time goes on. The ad's timer can be paused (deactivated) and then re-activated at any time. This allows you to remove the ad from public view, and is useful in the event that the advertised item or service has become unavailable. If the ad price is set to negotiable, an ad may only be deactivated if there are no pending offers.
Buying on Addoway is a lot like other platforms you may be used to, with a little twist. As a buyer, you can order a product or service at the listed price by clicking on "order now" from the listing page and following the steps. If the price is set to "negotiable" by the seller, you may negotiate the price with the seller through our DealOWay process, by clicking the "DealOWay" link on the listing page. If the listing is set to "tradable" by the seller, you may also offer the seller products or services in exchange for what they are selling, or offer a combination of cash and trade. All of this can be done by clicking on the "DealOWay" link on the listing page.
Once you and the seller agree to the terms of your transaction, simply complete the order process.
See "How do I post an ad?" above.
If you set the price to negotiable and/or tradable, you are allowing buyers to present alternative cash or trade offers for your product and/or service.
Once you and the buyer agree to the terms of the transaction you confirm payment and deliver the product or service.
There are no final sale fees with
Addoway.com. We'd prefer for you to keep the proceeds from the sale. After all, you earned it!

Like traditional feedback systems you may have seen on other marketplaces, your Addoway member rating is based on ratings given to you by other members of the Addoway community you have completed a transaction with.
Once a transaction is completed, the buyer and seller may rate each other based on their experience. Members are rated separately as buyers and sellers. These ratings become public information and may be used by other members to determine if they want to do business with you.
While we do think member ratings are important, we think a person's reputation goes much deeper than feedback ratings. Unlike many other marketplaces out there, we allow our members to connect their profiles to their Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, external websites, eBay accounts and more, giving you a much deeper look at the person you are dealing with.
Your overall rating is based on an average of your total rating stars, over your total number of ratings. Each rating is based on a scale of 0-5 stars, with 5 being the highest rating.
Ratings are permanent.
Your first step should be to contact the seller. You can ask the seller if there is a tracking number or other way to track the delivery of the item if it was shipped. If you attempt to contact the seller and can not come to a resolution, you can submit a complaint to Google Checkout or PayPal if you used either of those methods to pay for your purchase. See additional questions below regarding submitting claims, trading for products/services and choosing trustworthy people to buy from.
If you attempt to contact the seller and can not come to a resolution, you can submit a complaint to Google Checkout if it was the method of payment you used for your purchase.
With Google Checkout, the most efficient way to issue a complaint is by completing their online form. Please make sure you reference your 15 digit Google Order Number.
If you've fulfilled the above guidelines and the seller has been unresponsive to your request, continue to report this issue to Google. Please note mediation service is only available for orders that were placed in the last 90 days.
If you are unable to resolve a dispute with a seller directly, you may file a claim that a PayPal investigating agent will review. Before you file a claim:
- Check the Help Center. You often can get quick answers to your questions. In fact, you may find filing a claim is not necessary
- Make sure PayPal was used to pay for the item(s) in dispute
- Check the date! All claims must be filed within 45 days of the transaction or the claim will be denied
- Be ready to provide agents as much relevant information as possible. Buyers who don't respond when asked will have their claims cancelled. Sellers who don't respond will default the claim, which automatically refunds the buyer
For your protection, we recommend only using these payment methods in the event of a local pickup, as these payment methods do not provide the security and support that electronic methods like PayPal and Google Checkout provide to buyers when they run into problems receiving the products/services they purchased.

In your My Addoway, you may access your Negotiations page to view all offers. Click on the accepted offer. At the bottom of the Offer History, click on the "Order it Now" button and proceed with the order process.
Any ad can receive multiple offers from multiple parties. The seller has the option of accepting, declining, or canceling negotiations from any potential buyers. You can view all Negotiation activity in your My Addoway, under Negotiations.
First, check to make sure that the seller allows for negotiating or trading of an item. If the ad says "negotiable", that means the seller is willing to negotiate on the price. If the item says "tradable", that means the seller is willing to accept full or partial trades in the event the buyer offers them something they are interested in.
Once you have determined that the buyer may be open to negotiating/trading with you, click the "DealOWay" link from the ad page. Using DealOWay, you can specify a new offer price, drag and drop the items you wish to trade in exchange for what you want from the seller, or both. For more information on how to use DealOWay, visit
http://addoway.com/beta/dealowayIf you completed a trade on Addoway and the other party has not fulfilled their end of the bargain, please contact the other party to see if your dispute can be resolved. If it cannot, you can contact us to report the other party and you can also rate the other party detailing your experience trading with them. Please exercise your judgment when trading. Read our tips below on how to identify trustworthy users to trade with.
In your My Addoway, click the "eBay Importer" link on the bottom left. Sign in with your eBay username/password. You will then be prompted to choose which ads you would like to import. You can choose from sold, unsold, and inactive ads. Just click on the ads you want and hit import.
If you experience delays in the process or some of your ads do not transfer over, please log back into the importer and try again. The system may occasionally experience some difficulty processing your transfers if there is a high volume of transfer requests being made at any given time.
At this time, Addoway supports importing of eBay listings only. In the future, we will look to increase the number of places you can import listings from.
