Here is my newest painting. I absolutely love birds and love to paint them. These chickadees seemed just perfect to me and the flowers made them look even sweeter.

The background is abstract in gray's, white and with a hint of yellow to spice it up a bit.

I used acrylics as always for a sharp look and it is painted on a 14 x 11 canvas.

I might be sprucing it up a bit more though and adding more light to the flowers. I will change my picture immediately if I do so.

Inspiration ... it doesn't always come automatically, at least to me. I do not always feel inspired, nor to I always know what to make or paint. Something has to inpire me, from within me or on the outside. I believe that inspiration is one of an artist major struggles. To find that special idea that will make your art more appealing or original. I do have a few tips to help inspire artists and many do have their own that they may want to share here.

Knowing what to paint comes easier to me as there are so many subjects to explore, but knowing what kind of earrings to make next can be difficult. There are only so many designs that one can play with without copying pre-made designs.
