What could be more fun than spending a day with your two teen age grand children? We asked our 16 year old grand daughter and our 14 year old grand son if they wanted to spend the day going to thrift stores last Friday. We have been taking them since they were babies and we have turned them into thrift store junkies, they love them. Naturally our grand daughter texted her boy friend that we were going and he said that I hadn't beat him up enough and asked to come with us. Naturally we went by to get him. He is 18 and plans to be a doctor, puts up with anything that Lindsay says or does. I told her that she needs to hang on to him. Sad to say, she is just like me, but that is fodder for another blog. It sure beats the alternative!!

I have learned in my many years of being a daughter, a wife, a mother, and a grandmother is that young people really think that I don't know what I am talking about. I just sit back and smile because I know that one day they will be my age and hopefully they will look back and say 'my goodness, she was right all along.'

But as I get older, I feel those aches and pains more than I used to and when I have a strange new feeling, I head to Google to see if anybody else has had it and what in the world it is called. Seems like I am having more and more of those lately!!

I have noticed that as I become older there have been quite a few changes and one of them, being the frisky old girl that I am, is seeing the five gentleman a day that I have been seeing for awhile.
